Commissions galore!

So, as many of you know I do a few commissioned works every year, and this year is already off to a great start. I was commissioned by Nathaniel and Alex Berman for a 10 minute work in 3-movements for the North American Saxophone Alliance in Anthens, GA on March 3-6. Plus, I am writing another 3-movement work for the Da Capo Chamber Players, a chamber music group from NY. They will be doing a reading/concert in March at UNLV. I think any composer can say that writing 6 pieces simultaneously can be a nightmare. I just can't wait for March to get here so I can start on another commission for the Morenci High School Band in Arizona, conducted by my dear friend Elsie Scott. Keep your fingers crossed, my friends. This year is going to be great!

The new Justin Raines Music

Welcome to the home on the web of composer Justin Raines. I would like to thank this opportunity to thank Doug Neal from frshmintdesign.com for all of his hard work on this site. As you can see there is now officially a catalogue for anyone interested in purchasing any of my pieces. Please give a listen.
